Scalea, a popular holiday destination for many Italians is located on the south west coast of the peninsula along the Tyrrhenian Sea. The old town is the dominant feature perched on the hillside overlooking the coastline. A maze of narrow streets of a bygone age, this is a real taste of Italy.
